Join FSB members and volunteers for our regular monthly networking event where anyone with an interest in small business is welcome- no need to be a member.
You will have the opportunity to meet a broad selection of small business owners from the comfort of your desk, find business support and opportunities.
This month’s meeting focuses on raising your profile through business awards and will provide an opportunity to discuss top tips, from crafting an application to how to prepare for, and follow up from, attending a business awards event.
We will be joined by one of the 2022 FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards winners, who will share their tips on turning business awards into a business opportunity- whether you’re an applicant, a sponsor or an attendee.
Attendees will be invited to ask questions or note some ideas about how they would make their business stand out, and what actions to take before, during and after a business awards ceremony itself.
We will be hosted by FSB Area Leader Julie Jordan-Spence, owner of Leicester-based Jordan Motors and Practical Car and Van Rental (Leicester) and Rutland-based training specialist, FSB member and volunteer Christopher Clark.
Although targeted at the Leicestershire and Rutland areas, all small businesses are welcome to attend and to strengthen their business across the two counties. We also welcome non-FSB members, this is a great opportunity to bring a colleague or business associate to find out what FSB have to offer.
FSB representatives will be on hand to update you on FSB member services and benefits, ensuring you get the most from your FSB membership.
