Leicestershire has a thriving sporting ecosystem from volunteering to professional sport, SMEs to multinationals, national governing bodies, charities and world leading universities.
COVID has caused huge disruption within our sector and now is the time for us all to connect or reconnect to ensure that we are working together to the benefit of all.
This session will be delivered jointly by Loughborough University and Active Together, and will provide:
- Insight into how Loughborough University’s research is having a real-world impact in Leicestershire.
- Knowledge of how you can work with the University, gaining deeper access to its world leading reputation through a variety of opportunities.
- Information on how to access volunteers, internships, placement students and graduates.
- Knowledge of how to partner with Loughborough through Knowledge Exchange.
- Understanding of how to setup or grow your business through the University’s business incubator or wider Science & Enterprise Park (LUSEP).
- The chance to engage in active discussion on how we can work together to grow and enhance Loughborough’s sporting ecosystem.
The session will also provide you with valuable networking time to not only gain a deeper understanding of Loughborough University but also of the wider sporting ecosystem at Sports Park; providing you with the opportunity to connect and reconnect to ensure we can all thrive together.
